Our office is open to the public. Driver's License closes from 11:30-12:30 for lunch and promptly at 4:00. (No one will be issued after 4:00) We encourage vehicle renewals and property tax to continue to be paid online, mail, or drop box available outside on the southside of the building. Thank you for your understanding. Anyone entering the building is required to wear a mask.
Payable in September 2020 and March 2021 based on January 2019 assessment. This assessment covers the July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 tax year. Pay your current or delinquent taxes (excluding tax sale redemption) on line @ www.millscoia.us by e-check, Discover, Visa or Mastercard. The current tax information is on line and available for you to access. We can now accept credit and debit card payments along with cash or check when paying in the office. Remember that our Tax Sale will be held the third Monday of June and any unpaid taxes will be published and sold at the sale.
Guaranteed funds (cash, cashier's check or money order) are required for Tax Sale Redemption.
Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal at this time.
Title transfer requirements: Title, Bill of Sale is required, Title Application (available under Motor Vehicle Forms signed by all parties to be on the title) and a valid IA Driver's License or IA Identification Card.
You can renew your drivers license here in the office, 30 days before or 60 days after your birthday. At the present time we give car drives Tuesday AM by appointment only
Our location does not do CDL or motorcycle drives.
