2021 Property Taxes

Payable September 2022 and March 2023 are now available online.  

Penalty will begin on October 1, 2022, on the first half taxes due September 2022.  You may pay online or in the office through Friday, September 30, 2022, without penalty. Penalty will begin on the second half taxes April 1, 2023.

Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and eCheck (electronic funds transfer)
are accepted for Internet transactions.

Property Taxes:  Payment accepted on current and delinquent taxes.  Tax Sale redemption is not available online.  Please make sure that you are selecting the correct installment of your taxes to be paid.  First half taxes due in September, second half taxes due in March.  Note:  If you opt to pay your property tax by eCheck, you will be asked to enter a receipt number as your PIN.

Vehicle Renewals:  You are not eligible to renew online unless you received a renewal notice through the US Postal Service that contains a PIN number for online renewals.  Online service is NOT available if the vehicle registration fees are past due, proof of SR22 insurance is required, any outstanding debts are owed, and the vehicle has a half-year license or is apportioned.

eCheck, draft, or order as prescribed in the Iowa code 555.3512

  All applicants for a first time CDL must provide their ACTUAL Social Security card before any testing is allowed.
