The 2022 Property Taxes are Available

Payable September 2023 and March 2024

For the Time Period July 1, 2022- June 30, 2023

  >>Pay Property Taxes - Pay your property taxes electronically by eCheck or credit card. All current or delinquent property taxes may now be paid online, however tax sale redemption may not be paid online.  If you pay your taxes with an eCheck, you will be asked to enter a 6 digit receipt number as your Pin.  The receipt number can be found at the bottom of your tax statement.

>>Pay Your Vehicle Tags - You are NOT eligible to renew online unless you received a renewal notice through the US Postal Service that contains a PIN number for online renewals. Half year license and apportioned vehicle are not eligible for online renewal.  If your vehicle is delinquent the vehicle does NOT qualify for online renewal.

Accept On-Line Payment Methods eCheck, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions.  All eCheck returned for insufficient funds will be charged a fee of $20.00.

Beginning July 1, 2017

A bill of sale will be required on all transfers of ownership

I would like to welcome you to the Adair County Treasurers’ Home Page! My hope is that this website will make contacting our office easier and more convenient with access to information  24 hours a 7 day a week.

I was appointed as Treasurer June 27, 2007. Prior to this I have been an employee in the Treasurer’s office since April 1997.

Our office is committed to carrying out these responsibilities while providing outstanding customer service.

We provide the following services from our office: Property Tax Collection, Issuance of Vehicle Titles and Registrations, and Driver License Issuance.
