With the Department of Transportation announcing the closing of the issuance station in Carroll on September 1, 2016, the staff of the Carroll County Treasurer's Office immediately began training to provide the county with this service.  Full-time issuance of Iowa drivers licenses and state IDs began in our office on May 1, 2017. We are currently conducting car drives and motorcycle drives..

The goal of our office is to provide quality customer service to you, our customers..

Welcome to Carroll County, Iowa.

Carroll County Treasurer's Office will continue to require appointments for all driver's license services, but will no longer require appointments for vehicle and property tax services.  In order to continue providing a safe environment to conduct business, it is crucial that we minimize the number of customers in the courthouse.  To do this, we are STRONGLY encouraging customer to renew their vehicles and pay their property taxes through the mail, through the drop box, or on line.
