WE ARE OPEN BY APPOINTMENT FOR DRIVERS LICENSE AND TITLE TRANSFERS.  YOU MAY SELF-SCHEDULE AT WWW.MARIONCOUNTYIOWA.GOV. 

If you choose to walk-in for service, you may enter your name in the iPad outside the office, and we will serve you in between appointments.  However, please note that if you make an appointment, we can ask screening questions to ensure you have all the documents you need to be successful on the first trip.  Appointments also guarantee that we have staff present to help you when you arrive and allow us to contact you during weather-related closures or should the computer system go down.  

EVERYTHING BESIDES TITLE TRANSFERS AND DRIVERS LICENSE/ID TRANSACTIONS CAN BE DONE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.  PLEASE LOOK FOR THE WALK-UP WINDOWS AT OUR OFFICE ON THE SECOND FLOOR. 

YOU MAY ALSO PAY REGISTRATIONS AND TAXES ONE OF THESE CONVENIENT WAYS:

1.  Through the mail by sending to:  Marion County Treasurer - 214 E Main St., Knoxville IA  50138

2.  By depositing payment in our dropbox at the south entrance of the courthouse

3.  Online through this website - You must have the PIN located on your blue renewal notice

4.  Over the phone by credit card for a 2.25% fee.

Electronic Check payments returned for any reason may result in the maximum charge allowed by law by your county treasurer. Refer to www.marioncountyiowa.gov for fee information. 

Check our Facebook page for county related weather related closings and delays or office hour updates.  We may close the Pella or Knoxville locations without notice for inclement weather or other unforeseen situations.
